Lucy, our friends' 14-year old daughter, made these incredibly elegant rasberry tarts for dessert. The tinted glass dish and mint garnish complete the presentation!
After strolling through Paris Plages, along the transformed banks of the Seine, we stopped by a gelato shop for a rose-shaped cone. My daughter chose mango wrapped around chocolate.
Our friend, Sylvie, is a retail stylist in Paris and always puts together fantastic meals. She had us over for a wonderful dinner of an assortment of brochettes, all beautifully presented. Dessert: a rasberry meringue cake from Le Nôtre!
After dinner, we took the kids to La Fête des Tuileries, a summer carnival at Le Jardin des Tuileries, smack in the middle of Paris.
